The Cognitive Robotics Lab (COROLAB) is located within The School of Computer Science at The University of Manchester, and part of The Centre for Robotics and AI.

Led by Professor. Angelo Cangelosi the lab hosts a “robot home”, with a living lab for human-robot interaction experiments. The lab has access to various humanoid robot platforms such as iCub, Pepper, Panda Sawyer, and Nao as well as other interactive robots such as Giraff.

The lab is involved in numerous projects funded generously by the UKRI/ESPRC, EU Horizon programme, and by companies such as Honda and BAE systems. Current projects include the ERC Advanced eTALK grant, the ESPRC CRADLE Prosperity grant, various MSCA Doctoral Networks (eg SCALA and TRAIL) and the US CASPER ++ on trust and theory of the mind in human-robot teams.
